• Introduction and extensive analysis of the impact of financial technology (fintech) on other sectors in the economy, especially traditional banking and corporate finance. • Provide comprehensive knowledge about modern business models and emerging technological financial services, thereby assessing their impact on global financial markets. • An in-depth exploration of machine learning, artificial intelligence in finance, and the role of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies in key sectors of the economy. • Develop skills in analyzing and evaluating fintech solutions through hands-on exercises, group discussions, and real-life projects. • Increase awareness and ability to identify future development trends in the fintech sector, preparing students with the necessary skills to face challenges and opportunities in the industry. • Equip students with skills to apply knowledge to find solutions to practical market problems, as well as effectively use current financial technology products.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The Finance and Technology (Fintech) module provides university students with in-depth knowledge about the mechanism and impact of Fintech on the activities of commercial banks and traditional supervisory institutions, especially factors related to technological breakthroughs, changes in consumer behavior, future development trends of money, and the appearance of new competitors. It is important that students realize business models that can join and disrupt traditional financial models brought about by technology and innovation (Apple pay, Amazon, Grab...). Fintech is also a subject that confirms the big data role of financial technology in determining global economic and monetary change. How will financial institutions react? How the new model of banking and credit institutions and new technology also interferes in the future digital currency war.
