The module illustrates the importance of discrete mathematical structures while providing relevant problem-solving tools for computer professionals, with a particular emphasis on mathematical problem-solving.

The module provides mathematical structures for informatics, focusing on calculation, deduction and modeling; supports mathematical foundations for other modules, such as: Programming Basics, Databases, Data Structures, Code Theory, Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence.
