5. Course Objectives:

The course aims to equip students with fundamental and advanced knowledge in identifying, measuring, and evaluating the value of intangible assets such as brands, patents, intellectual property rights, and goodwill. Students will master common valuation methods, gain a thorough understanding of the factors influencing the value of intangible assets, and apply this knowledge in practice to make accurate and reasonable valuation decisions.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course provides students with a background of knowledge related to intangible assets and intangible asset valuation approaches that are applied worldwide and in accordance with current Vietnamese valuation standards. Thereby, students will apply the methods of each intangible asset valuation approach to a specific intangible asset in Vietnam.
