This course consists of 9 sessions, including 6 main lessons and 2 sessions dedicated to speaking tests and review. The content focuses on developing academic language skills such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing in the context of Technology, Media, and Design. The lessons explore the following topics: the role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the workplace, ICT in education, business information systems, the Internet, computers and ethics, and the future of ICT.Students will develop skills such as predicting lecture content, note-taking, presenting arguments, text analysis, writing complex sentences, and using persuasive language. The course applies modern teaching methods such as Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), and Project-Based Learning (PBL), combined with activities like group discussions, role plays, simulations, and presentations. Assessment criteria include participation and attendance, activities on the Learning Management System (LMS), speaking tests, mock tests, and a final exam. Students are expected to actively participate in class and engage in self-study through vocabulary exercises, text analysis, and preparation before attending lessons.
