The Advanced Probability course helps students consolidate their knowledge of Probability and apply it effectively to practical problems in preparation for the Exam P, which is required for professional certification by the Society of Actuaries (SOA). Additionally, the course provides practical case studies to enable students to apply Probability Theory to real-world economic situations. This course follows the Probability course and is intended for second-year students in the Actuarial Science program. After completing this course, students will have a solid foundation to excel in specialized courses such as Long-Term Actuarial Mathematics 1 and 2, and Short-Term Actuarial Mathematics 1 and 2.
