Môn học Kinh tế lượng ứng dụng dành cho sinh viên chuyên ngành Kinh tế đầu tư nhằm giúp sinh viên phân biệt và áp dụng các mô hình kinh tế lượng phổ biến dựa trên dữ liệu chéo (cross-sectional data) và dữ liệu bảng (panel data) trong nghiên cứu khoa học hàn lâm hoặc nghiên cứu khoa học ứng dụng ở các lĩnh vực kinh tế, kinh doanh và quản lý.
Trong suốt quá trình học, sinh viên không chỉ nắm được kiến thức nền tảng về các mô hình kinh tế lượng được trình bày một cách đơn giản qua ngôn ngữ toán học và ngôn ngữ thông thường mà còn được tiếp cận với các nghiên cứu thực tiễn trong lĩnh vực kinh tế và kinh doanh đã được công bố trên các tạp chí khoa học. Bên cạnh đó, sinh viên sẽ thực hành các tình huống học tập (case study) sử dụng dữ liệu thực tế để hiểu rõ hơn về cách áp dụng các mô hình này.

The Applied Econometrics course for students of Investment Economics aims to equip students with the ability to distinguish and apply common econometric models using cross-sectional data and panel data in both academic and applied scientific research within the fields of economics, business, and management.
Throughout the course, students will not only gain foundational knowledge of econometric models presented in accessible mathematical and verbal terms but also engage with published research studies in economics and business that apply these models.
