In this course, students will develop strategic thinking about integrated or partially integrated supply chain, procurement and service management strategies for business organizations that rely on the Internet and information technology to interact with suppliers and end-users. To achieve this goal, the course will provide fundamental principles from the business fields of supply chain management and information management to establish a theoretical foundation. In addition, based on applied concepts and practical understanding, students will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to plan, organize, operate and control multiple processes, resources, services and relationships in the supply chain through the Internet and information technology. The course approach is based primarily on lectures, case studies and discussions, and on analysis of specific situations.
