- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the development of art and culture from ancient civilizations to the modern era. - Analyze and evaluate the significance of technology in transforming artistic forms and cultural expressions. - Acquire in-depth knowledge of emerging trends in contemporary art and culture, particularly the influence of technology and mass media. - Explore the ways in which technology impacts the creation, dissemination, and preservation of cultural heritage. - Develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to articulate personal perspectives on the importance of understanding art and cultural history in today's society. - Enhance research, reporting, and discussion skills related to issues in art and cultural history in conjunction with art and technology.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course provides students with a comprehensive overview of the history of art and culture, spanning from ancient times to the modern era. Students will explore the evolution of art and culture across different historical periods, from early civilizations to contemporary artistic and cultural movements.

By integrating theories of art and technology, the course deepens students’ understanding of the transformative power of technology in reshaping artistic forms and cultural practices. Students will examine how technology has influenced the development of art and culture—from the creation of new works to the dissemination and preservation of cultural heritage.

The course also places particular emphasis on analyzing and evaluating contemporary trends in art and culture, from the rise of digital art to the influence of mass media. Students will be encouraged to develop critical reasoning and articulate personal perspectives on the importance of understanding the history of art and culture in today’s society.
