5. Course Objectives:
Môn học Ngân hàng thương mại cung cấp cho sinh viên kiến thức chuyên sâu về các hoạt động chủ yếu của NHTM như: huy động vốn, tín dụng, dịch vụ thanh toán, dịch vụ ngân hàng điện tử, dịch vụ ngân hàng khác trong điều kiện cách mạng công nghệ hiện đại của NHTM. Sau khi học xong môn học này, sinh viên có thể ứng dụng kiến thức đã học vào công việc thực tiễn tại các NHTM, định chế tài chính và doanh nghiệp. Ngoài ra kiến thức đạt được, môn học NHTM còn rèn luyện thêm cho sinh viên kỹ năng thuyết trình, phân tích tình huống, khả năng ứng xử và ra quyết định các tình huống trong công việc nhằm giúp sinh viên có thể dễ dàng tiếp cận môi trường làm việc trong lĩnh vực Ngân hàng – Tài chính./
The subject of Commercial Banking provides students with in-depth knowledge of the main activities of commercial banks such as: capital mobilization, credit, payment services, electronic banking services, other banking services in the conditions of modern technological revolution of commercial banks. After completing this subject, students can apply the knowledge they have learned to practical work at commercial banks, financial institutions and enterprises. In addition to the knowledge gained, the subject of Commercial Banking also trains students in presentation skills, situation analysis, the ability to respond and make decisions in work situations to help students easily approach the working environment in the field of Banking - Finance.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This subject offers insight theories and practice into the investment banking industry. Students will be equipped with specialized knowledge related to investment banks businesses such as: underwriting, asset management, financial advisory, corporate restructuring services…. Graduated students will be able to develop their careers in large financial institutions, investment banks, funds, asset management companies, securities firms, commercial banks, large corporations, which comprise the world of modern finance, and gain a wide range of employable skills.
