This subject is designed to provide students knowledge and skills of supplying insurance products through the banking system. Core topics that will be discussed include: the main elements of the banking services and insurance industry; describing the main features of insurance products, savings and investment products, retirement planning products; banks’ strategies to enter in insurance industry; and what constitutes good and ethical client practice. At the end of this course, students will be able to apply features of different types of product to the client’s needs and understand the role of the bancassurance in recommending suitable products by which the client can achieve his or her financial objectives.
