This course aims to equip students with a comprehensive range of English language knowledge and skills for the tourism and hospitality industry, covering both fundamental and advanced aspects. Students will strengthen and expand their specialised vocabulary, enhance their proficiency in the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) within professional contexts, and develop the ability to apply English in communication, presentations, negotiations, and problem-solving in real-world tourism and hospitality business settings. The course also fosters critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities, while providing a solid foundation for students to enter the international job market or pursue further academic research in this field.
