Students will be equipped with the basic concepts of data warehouses, techniques for designing, building, retrieving, and exploiting data in data warehouses. The course also provides knowledge so that students can practice well in designing and converting data from conventional databases to data warehouses, and can participate in data warehouse projects in enterprises.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The module provides learners with concepts, techniques for building and exploiting Data Warehouses in enterprises as well as tools for querying and visualizing data. Specifically, the module provides content related to the following topics:
Chapter 1: Data Warehouses and Enterprises
Chapter 2: Data Warehouse Architecture and Infrastructure
Chapter 3: The development process of a data warehouse construction project for businesses
Chapter 4: Data Design and Processing
Chapter 5: Using OLAP Tools to Retrieve Information.
