Giới thiệu các định chế bán lẻ hiện đại và quá trình tiến hóa của nó; Tiếp cận khái niệm bán lẻ hỗn hợp để xây dựng chiến lược kinh doanh; Xác định danh mục hàng hóa, nghệ thuật định giá bán lẻ, chiến lược vị trí cửa hàng; Quản lý hoạt động marketing, bán hàng, cửa hàng và quản trị quan hệ khách hàng./ Introduce modern retail institutions and their evolution; Approach the concept of retail mix to build a business strategy; Define a portfolio of goods, retail pricing art, store location strategy; Manage marketing, sales, stores, and customer relationship management.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

Retailing is a dynamic and ever changing industry. We see significant growth in the industry here and abroad, the emergence of electronic retailing, mergers and acquisitions, new technologies that affect how merchandise may be sold and managed, and new types of retailing establishments. This course is designed to keep students abreast of these changes and give you exposure to the types of decisions facing traditional retail buyers, managers, and owners as well as electronic retailers. Students will gain an understanding of retailing trends, technology in the industry, the elements that comprise the retail mix, including types of retailers, multichannel retailing, consumer buying behavior, retail marketing strategies, selecting retail site locations, supply chain management, merchandising, pricing, store management, store layout & design and customer service and the international movement of retailers.
