5. Course Objectives:

This course aims to enhance students' knowledge and understanding of sustainability data, as well as global reporting standards and requirements. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: - Identify the environmental and social impacts of businesses. - Determine appropriate indicators to measure the sustainability of organizations (both public and private). - Assess sustainability and describe the trends driving the demand for sustainability disclosures. - Discuss sustainability reporting requirements in various management frameworks around the world. - Explain why sustainability information is increasingly important for investors when making investment decisions.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course will cover the use of data and indicators to measure sustainability and monitor the progress of a company's sustainable development. Additionally, the course will introduce the examination and analysis of theoretical foundations and practical issues related to corporate sustainability reporting. The course will also focus on both established and emerging frameworks for developing corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance indicators, assessing their reliability, reporting to stakeholders, and encouraging managers to act based on ESG metrics. Specifically, the course content includes:

- Introduction to data and indicators for calculating the environmental, social, and economic impacts of an organization through its activities.

- Evaluation of the extent to which organizations are dependent on and influenced by the environmental, social, and economic contexts in which they operate.
