5. Course Objectives:

This course is designed to provide students with fundamental knowledge of biodiversity in the context of globalization and climate change. Through this foundation, students will be able to analyze and evaluate issues related to biodiversity management and conservation in alignment with sustainable development goals. The course also serves as a basis for more advanced, specialized subjects later in the program.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The Biodiversity Management course provides fundamental understanding of biodiversity, its conservation, relevant policies and laws. It also imparts lessons learned from implementing strategies to protect, restore, and sustainably utilize biodiversity. Students are instructed to analyze challenges and opportunities, as well as assess the suitability and feasibility of sustainable biodiversity management practices in the 3 context of climate change. This knowledge serves as a foundation for proposing solutions aiming to both conserve biodiversity and contribute to regional and national socio-economic development.
