5. Course Objectives:

The objective of this course is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to contribute to sustainable development goals, with a focus on implementation in the public sector context. Specifically, students will: - Gain an overview of the general context of sustainable development and the public sector’s role within the sustainable development goals (SDGs). - Understand the leading role of the public sector in implementing the SDGs. - Identify the key roles of regions and localities in achieving the SDGs. - Understand the concepts, processes, and activities involved in implementing co-creation solutions. - Understand the role of the business sector in sustainable development activities in general. - Develop ideas and steps for implementing activities that contribute to promoting sustainable development in Vietnam.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The course equips students with an understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how the public sector can lead their implementation. The content of the course includes (1) Overview of sustainable development and the context of public organizations, (2) The role of the public sector in the implementation of the SDGs, (3) The role of regions and localities in the implementation of the SDGs, (4) Implementation of co-creative solutions between the public sector and stakeholders,  (5) The role of the business sector contributes to the overall sustainability of society.
