Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to: 1. Understand the principles of sustainable supply chain management (SCM) and their applications. 2. Analyze and assess the environmental, social, and economic impacts of supply chain decisions. 3. Apply basic strategies in sustainable supply chains related to sourcing, production, logistics, and waste management. 4. Understand how 4.0 technologies such as blockchain, AI, and big data enhance transparency and efficiency in supply chains. 5. Address ethical and social issues in global supply chains, including labor rights and ethical sourcing. 6. Understand how to build supply chains that minimize risks associated with climate change and disruptions.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course introduces students to the fundamental principles and practices of sustainable supply chain management (SCM). It explores how organizations can design and operate supply chains to balance economic, environmental, and social objectives effectively. Students will gain practical insights into integrating sustainability into supply chain processes, including procurement, production, logistics, and end-of-life product management. The course combines theoretical frameworks with case studies, real-world examples, and hands-on exercises to equip students with the skills needed to address sustainability challenges in global supply chains.
