6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The subject Environmental Impact and Risk Assessment is a mandatory subject for 3rd year students majoring in Corporate Sustainability and Environmental Management, in order to equip them with specialized knowledge, legal documents, and regulations. Technical requirements for environmental impact assessment (EIA) and risk assessment (DRM) as a system of analysis, evaluation and forecasting tools to consider environmental issues, impacts impacts and risks to the ecosystem, health, economic and social conditions of various types of business activities. The course aims to develop for students the skills to proficiently apply EIA and DRM methods, community consultation techniques, critical thinking skills and protection of impact forecast results and impact reduction measures. Develop and implement environmental and natural resource management plans.
