The course aims to introduce static and dynamic malware analysis techniques, basic and advanced tools including online tools. The utilities that provide summary information, as well as decompilers and debuggers, will also be discussed in detail. In addition, the module also focuses on analyzing actual malware samples found in the wild. In addition, students are also taught how to prepare malware analysis reports according to templates used in the information security industry.
