The Spatial Analysis course aims to equip students with the skills to collect, process, analyze and communicate urban data. Students will learn how to use both hand-drawn and computer-aided methods to create maps and spatial representations. The course provides knowledge of basic concepts in spatial analysis, spatial statistical techniques and data visualization skills, applied to practical issues such as transportation, regional planning, urban design, housing, and environment. This course supports and links with subjects on data analysis, urban design, and data presentation, providing a foundation for students to apply spatial analysis in multidisciplinary contexts.
