Nhập dữ liệuThe emergence of nation-states concurrently gave rise to inter-state relations. These relations exist in parallel with those arising within the territorial boundaries of sovereign states. Consequently, as global interactions expand, evolve, and become increasingly complex, there is a requisite need for the establishment and development of international law to govern these relationships. In contemporary Vietnam, in light of the demands for national reform and the expansion of relations with other nations across various sectors—particularly in the economy—it is imperative for individuals and organizations to possess a foundational understanding of international law. Such knowledge ensures that codes of conduct evolve into established standards for both domestic and foreign activities, thereby safeguarding the optimal interests of all relevant parties. Through this course, in addition to acquiring legal scientific knowledge, students will cultivate essential skills required of a legal practitioner, including case resolution, analysis of legal violations, and persuasive argumentation.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The course provides a fundamental understanding of the concepts, characteristics, origins, and basic principles of the modern international legal system. Building upon this foundation, students will conduct an in-depth examination of the subjects of international law, territory, national borders, the International Law of the Sea, population, and methods of international dispute settlement.

Furthermore, the course offers legal perspectives on contemporary international conflicts, as well as proposing viewpoints and approaches for the resolution of such disputes.
