5. Course Objectives:

The Population and Labor Statistics course provides a basic knowledge system, research methods, analysis of scale, structure, dynamics, and forecasting of population and labor resources in the future to serve planning purposes. Additionally, it helps students understand the process of forming, distributing, and appropriately utilizing labor resources.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This module provides knowledge as well as methods of collecting information on population and labor; description and analysis of population size and structure according to statistical methods; statistical research methods on the process of birth, death, and migration - the factors that make up the variation in population size and structure.

        The development of population research, population forecast is the foundation for socio-economic projections.

        Basic statistical methods to study the process of forming, distributing and using human resources. Provides basic methods for Labor and Employment Statistics and statistical indicators.

        Skill in using software in data processing (Excel, SPSS), reading the results outputs from the software.
