The course provides students with statistical thinking and statistical research skills when solving socio-economic problems. In practice, managers and policy makers must make decisions to solve problems. To make good decisions, information and understanding (data, variables and relationships between variables) are required.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The course systematically provides a system of concepts and methods to design and carry out an applied research in the field of economic statistics. The main contents include identifying research problems, research objectives, literature review and summaries of previous research to propose a research model, measurement methods, methods of data collection and data analysis choices.
