6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This course enables students to understand the role of Trade and Industrial Policy in the context of integration, industrialization and mordernization. It initially analyzes the policy implications from classical trade and new trade theories. Then, the course analyzes the impact of trade and industrial instruments and the application of these instruments in the context of Vietnamese industries in the integration process. The course also provides students with the techniques and data related to trade and industry. Besides, the course also enables students to understand political economy of trade policy and trade policy in developing countries as well as developed countries.
