This module introduces the basic ideas and methods in discrete mathematics as well as the mathematical tools needed for Informatics. The module illustrates the importance of discrete mathematical structures while providing relevant problem-solving tools for computer professionals, with a particular emphasis on mathematical problem-solving.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The module provides mathematical structures for informatics, focusing on calculation, deduction and modeling; supports mathematical foundations for other modules, such as: Programming Basics, Databases, Data Structures, Code Theory, Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence.
