6. Brief Description of Course Content:

There has been a significant shift in how business managers perceive employees. In the past, employees were considered an input cost, but now they are seen as valuable assets and key resources that determine the success of a business. This raises the question: How can employees be motivated to work diligently, give their best efforts, and complete tasks rather than simply working the required hours?

The Organizational Behavior course provides fundamental knowledge that helps managers understand the causes and influencing factors—both internal and external—that lead to the behaviors of individuals and groups within an organization. Additionally, the course equips students with methods to address management issues related to human dynamics in organizations. Every manager needs strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage subordinates, communicate with superiors, and successfully navigate organizational change. These skills are especially relevant in the Vietnamese business environment, where enterprises and organizations are constantly facing the need for innovation.
