5. Course Objectives:

The course provides students with the fundamental knowledge and practical skills to analyze, evaluate and manage entertainment services in the context of modern society. Students will explore the historical, philosophical and social aspects of the entertainment industry, and understand the role, value and impact of public, non-profit, commercial and tourism entertainment establishments for all audiences and ages. Through this course, students will analyze current trends and future development potential of the entertainment services industry, and connect theory with practice to solve problems related to management, marketing, planning, events, human resources and training. The course also encourages creativity in work, effective planning and human resource coordination skills. In addition, the course helps students build self-awareness, the ability to self-assess their own values, and a progressive attitude in jobs to develop a career in the entertainment industry - a field full of potential and opportunity in the 21st century.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This module introduces various leisure activities and develops students' awareness of recreational service management fundamentals. Students will examine social, cultural and political factors that influence the delivery of recreational services, and assess the impact of services on the local and global economy. Students will also evaluate service development that focuses on resource management and service management relevant to a particular entertainment service provider.
