5. Course Objectives:
Môn học lý tài chính cung cấp kiến thức về tiền tệ, ngân hàng và thị trường tài chính, chính sách tài khóa và chính sách tiền tệ. Sau khi được trang bị các kiến thức về môn học, sinh viên có thể hiểu được quá trình tạo tiền của hệ thống ngân hàng trong nền kinh tế; các công cụ của chính sách tiền tệ hiện đại của các NHTW trên thế giới cũng như những đặc thù của các công cụ này được vận dụng bởi Ngân hàng nhà nước Việt Nam; phân tích được các chiến lược và chiến thuật điều hành chính sách tiền tệ; hiểu và phân tích được vai trò của kỳ vọng hợp lý trong chính sách tiền tệ; hiểu và giải thích được các kênh truyền dẫn của chính sách tiền tệ. Trên cơ sở đó, sinh viên được thực hành thảo luận, vận dụng bình luận các vấn đề thực tiễn điều hành chính sách tiền tệ khác nhau từ quan điểm của các nhà kinh tế và các NHTW trên thế giới.
This course provides the background knowledge of money and the financial system including the money issues, payment system, money supply and economic growth, as well as the overview of financial instruments, financial markets and financial institutions.
Besides, this course also delivers core knowledge about the relationship between interest rates, the term of interest structure and major instruments in the financial markets including stocks and bonds.
In addition, learners will be equipped with rudimentary knowledge about exchange rates, the formation and factors affecting exchange rates. Finally, students will get to know more about banking, banking governance, the role of the central bank, the money supply process and the implementation of monetary policy in the economy.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This course provides background knowledge of money and the financial system, including money issues, the payment system, the money supply, and economic growth.
