The course provides students with the basic knowledge of quality management and its role for the sustainable development of organizations in general and health facilities in particular.
This course helps students to identify factors influencing consumer perception of quality products and services. In addition, students also grasp the quality characteristics that are important to health care users and providers, thereby understanding the different aspects of Quality in healthcare. Through the course, students have many opportunities to discuss and identify quality management issues in their organizations, to share knowledge and experiences about quality management, thereby helping to learn. Students have the ability to apply the knowledge of the subject to solving quality management problems as well as orient the implementation of an appropriate quality management system in their own organizations. Students understand popular and current hospital quality standards, and generally knows the pursuit of public and private hospitals. Students have the basic skills to pursue a process, organize checklist implementations to help with confidence in managing quality.
