5. Course Objectives:

- Hiểu rõ các khái niệm nền tảng về chất lượng và quản lý chất lượng cũng như vai trò của quản trị chất lượng đối với sự thành công của tổ chức; - Hiểu rõ các nguyên tắc và các chức năng của quản lý chất lượng; - Hiểu và có khả năng sử dụng một số kỹ thuật quản lý chất lượng; - Nhận biết được các phương pháp đánh giá chất lượng, đánh giá hệ thống quản lý chất lượng và có khả năng ứng dụng các phương pháp đánh giá; - Hiểu được bản chất của hệ thống quản lý chất lượng theo tiêu chuẩn quốc tế ISO 9000./ - Understand the fundamental concepts of quality and quality management as well as the role of quality management in the success of the organization; - Understand the principles and functions of quality management; - Understand and be able to use some quality management techniques; - Recognize the methods of quality assessment, quality management system assessment and be able to apply the assessment methods; - Understand the nature of the quality management system according to the international standard ISO 9000.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

Quality management has become an indispensable activity for organizations' growth through a focus on management system efficiency and customer satisfaction. The course provides students with the basic knowledge of quality management and its role for the sustainable development of organizations in general and health facilities in particular. 

This course helps students to identify factors influencing consumer perception of quality products and services. In addition, students also grasp the quality characteristics that are important to health care users and providers, thereby understanding the different aspects of Quality in healthcare. Through the course, students have many opportunities to discuss and identify quality management issues in their organizations, to share knowledge and experiences about quality management, thereby helping to learn. Students have the ability to apply the knowledge of the subject to solving quality management problems as well as orient the implementation of an appropriate quality management system in their own organizations. Students understand popular and current hospital quality standards, and generally knows the pursuit of public and private hospitals. Students have the basic skills to pursue a process, organize checklist implementations to help with confidence in managing quality.
