5. Course Objectives:
The course will provide students with an opportunity to engage in sustained research in a specific area of their choice. Through the course, students will be able to demonstrate their ability to identify a research topic, develop research directions, research objectives, and present research results, and present the results of that research in both written and oral form. Upon completion of this course, students will have the confidence to engage in research and problem-solving activities that are important competencies and functions of a manager.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The aim of this unit is to offer students the opportunity to engage in sustained research in a specific field of study. The unit enables students to demonstrate the capacity and ability to identify a research theme, develop research aims, objectives and outcomes, and present the outcomes of such research in both written and verbal formats. On successful completion of this unit, students will have the confidence to engage in problem-solving and research activities which are part of the function of a manager.
