5. Course Objectives:
This course provides students with fundamental knowledge of the process involved in conducting scientific research: identifying the research topic, designing the research, conducting the research, and presenting the research findings. Students are also equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to carry out practical research. In addition, students are introduced to tools for report writing, citation, the publication process, and issues related to research ethics.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The module equips students with basic knowledge about the process of conducting a scientific research project: identifying research topics, designing research, conducting research, and presenting research results. Students are also provided with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct a practical research. In addition, students are introduced to tools to support report writing, citation, publication process as well as issues related to research ethics.
