This course provides students with knowledge about:
Provide a solid foundation in Artificial Intelligence (AI): Introduce fundamental AI concepts, helping students understand the core areas of AI, including search algorithms, logical reasoning, machine learning, and optimization techniques.
Understand basic AI algorithms: Students will master fundamental algorithms such as search algorithms, constraint satisfaction problems, genetic algorithms, and logic-based reasoning methods, and learn how to apply them to solve AI problems.
Ability to apply machine learning: Students will gain a basic understanding of machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, enabling them to build and evaluate simple machine learning models.
Develop problem-solving skills in AI: Students will be guided on how to analyze, solve, and optimize real-world problems in AI through practical exercises and small projects.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
After completing the course, students have a basic understanding of the main ideas for implementing artificial intelligence (AI) applications in mechatronic systems. Students will have a good foundation and understanding of search algorithms, constraint satisfaction, genetic algorithms, logic-based inference, planning, and machine learning.
The objectives of this course are designed to expose students to the frontiers of information systems and advanced computing, while providing a sufficiently strong foundation to encourage further study.
