5. Course Objectives:

International Banking Management provides students with basic knowledge of banking activities as well as the characteristics and development trends in banking business in this field. The course helps students analyze the performance and risks of banks. Then students are equipped with knowledge of capital mobilization management, credit activities, investment as well as non-interest income activities. Finally, how banks manage their own capital to deal with risks.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The course equips students with specialized management knowledge and skills with modern risk management methods. The main contents of the course include asset and capital management, liquidity management, interest rate risk management, exchange risk management, loan portfolio management and application models, advanced derivatives are being widely applied by international banks and financial institutions such as duration models, futures, swaps in risk management.
