5. Course Objectives:

After completing this course, students will have sufficient knowledge about credit appraisal. Understand the importance and role of credit appraisal for the business activities of commercial banks. Master the credit appraisal process applied to the credit approval model of commercial banks. Apply knowledge and skills of credit appraisal for each customer group to contribute to limiting credit risks.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course is designed to provide students with knowledge and practical skills about the profession of international banking. Some of the core contents will be taught in this subject: how to collect and process information for credit operations, skills to make credit decisions, how to identify problems, handling situations in international banks' credit activities. After completing this course, students will improve their knowledge and practical skills on how to provide international banking credit to customers and can take up job positions in the credit department at international banks, commercial banks and other intermediary financial institutions.
