5. Course Objectives:

The course provides students with basic supply chain management knowledge according to the SCOR (Plan-Source-Make-Deliver-Return) model. The module content will reflect the changes in supply chain management practices, providing modern, vivid quality management practice scenarios at large (multinational) companies and small and medium-sized enterprises that adapt to the changing context.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course introduces the concepts, applications, and tools of Operations and Supply Chain Management in a global context according to the SCOR model, specifically: 

  • Operation management (Make) is the design of a system to transform input elements into output products (and services) in an efficient manner and achieve the strategic goals of the business.
  • Supply chain management (P-S-D-R) is the management of not only the flow of material elements throughout from the "input" stage until they are transformed into "output" factors, but also the management of related factors such as information, finance, risks, legal, policies... in order to achieve an optimal level in supply activities, creating positive prices for participants.
