5. Course Objectives:
Môn học này cung cấp cho người học những kiến thức cơ bản về chứng khoán có thu nhập cố định, đặc biệt là trái phiếu. Hoàn thành khóa học này, người học có thể: mô tả các chứng khoán có thu nhập cố định khác nhau với các đặc điểm của chúng, chẳng hạn như trái phiếu; cổ phiếu ưu đãi; các sản phẩm có cấu trúc cũng như thị trường trái phiếu.
Có kiến thức cơ bản về các nguyên tắc định giá, đặc biệt là định giá trái phiếu. Mô tả và giải thích các thuộc tính của cấu trúc kỳ hạn quan tâm. Mô tả và giải thích các rủi ro liên quan đến đầu tư vào chứng khoán có thu nhập cố định. Có thể đo lường và phòng ngừa rủi ro liên quan đến chứng khoán có thu nhập cố định.

This course provides learners fundamental knowledges of fixed income securities, especially bonds. Completing this course, learners are expected to: describe different fixed income securities with their characteristics, such as bonds, preferred stock, structured products as well as bond market, have basic knowledge of valuation principles, especially bond valuation, describe and explain properties of term structure of interest, describe and explain risks associated with investment in fixed income securities, be able to measure and hedge risk associated with fixed income securities., have fundamental knowledge of both passive and active hedging strategies in fixed income investment.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This course is designed for students majoring in Insurance, School of Finance, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. This course aims to provide students with basic knowledge related to fixed income securities, helping students gain knowledge about fixed income securities, be able to value fixed income securities, identify related risks as well as build risk prevention strategies when investing in fixed income securities at a basic level. The course also prepares students with professional skills such as calculation and problem solving skills to help students develop their future careers better.
