This course will provide students with knowledge about the organizational structure and the operation of financial markets. It also introduces the features and roles of main financial institutions such as savings and loans associations, insurance companies and mutual funds. Besides, this course gives a depth analysis of different types of instruments traded in the money markets and capital markets such as deposits, stocks, bonds, and securitization, thereby representing the dynamic of capital flows in the market and highlighting the role of financial institutions.
In addition, this course also gives attention to the relationship between domestic and international financial markets, as well as introduces financial institution regulations.
