Kết thúc môn học này, sinh viên được thay đổi cách tư duy trong xử lý thách thức nhiều mặt của cuộc sống, hiểu vai trò của phát triển bền vững trong việc giải quyết các vấn đề toàn cầu và có khả năng áp dụng các nguyên tắc phát triển bền vững vào các tình huống thực tế, đặc biệt trong bối cảnh của Việt Nam. Môn học cung cấp cho sinh viên một lộ trình phù hợp cho con đường nghề nghiệp thành công sau này trong một thế giới ngày càng coi trọng sự bền vững. Môn học được thiết kế nhằm giới thiệu cho sinh viên những nguyên tắc, khái niệm và thách thức chính của phát triển bền vững, tập trung vào bối cảnh của Việt Nam. Mục tiêu của môn học như sau: • Khám phá các nguyên tắc và khái niệm chính về phát triển bền vững, bao gồm tính bền vững về môi trường, công bằng xã hội và phát triển kinh tế. • Tìm hiểu những thách thức mà Việt Nam phải đối mặt trong mục tiêu phát triển bền vững và vai trò của các bên liên quan trong giải quyết những thách thức này. • Phát triển kỹ năng tư duy phê phán và nhận thức toàn cầu thông qua phân tích các nghiên cứu điển hình và ví dụ thực tế. • Thúc đẩy tinh thần trách nhiệm công dân bằng cách khuyến khích sinh viên tham gia giải quyết vấn đề liên quan đến bền vững của các cộng đồng và tổ chức./ At the end of this course, students will be able to change their mindset in dealing with multifaceted challenges of life, understand the role of sustainable development in solving global problems, and be able to apply sustainable development principles to real-world situations, especially in Vietnam. The course provides students with a suitable pathway for a successful career path in a world that is increasingly emphasising on sustainability. The course is designed to introduce students to the key principles, concepts and challenges of sustainable development, with a focus on the Vietnamese context. The objectives of the course are as follows: • Explore the key principles and concepts of sustainable development, including environmental sustainability, social balance and economic development. • Learn about the challenges that Viet Nam faces in the Sustainable Development Goals and the role of stakeholders in addressing these challenges. • Develop critical thinking skills and global awareness through the analysis of case studies and real-world examples. • Promote a sense of civic responsibility by encouraging students to participate in solving sustainability-related issues of communities and organizations.

The course "Sustainable Development" introduces students to the key principles, concepts, and challenges of sustainable development with a focus on the context of Vietnam. As a rapidly developing nation, Vietnam faces complex social, economic, and environmental issues that require sustainable solutions. This undergraduate-level course aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of sustainable development theory, its application, and the role of various stakeholders in achieving sustainable outcomes.

Studying "Sustainable Development" is essential for students to develop a holistic understanding of the challenges facing the world and to equip themselves with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute positively to a sustainable and equitable future. The course fosters critical thinking, global awareness, and responsible citizenship while providing a pathway to meaningful and impactful careers in a world that increasingly values sustainability.
