5. Course Objectives:

Môn học cung cấp cho sinh viên kiến thức quản lý chuỗi cung ứng cơ bản theo mô hình SCOR (Plan-Source-Make-Deliver-Return). Nội dung học phần sẽ phản ánh những thay đổi diễn ra trong thực tiễn quản lý chuỗi cung ứng, cung cấp các tình huống thực hành QLCCU hiện đại, sinh động tại các công ty lớn (đa quốc gia) và doanh nghiệp vừa và nhỏ thích ứng với bối cảnh thay đổi đang diễn ra./Understand supply chain management from production, distribution and consumption; Master the basic knowledge of supply chain and its importance in company strategy; Explore supply chain processes (planning, purchasing, manufacturing, distribution); Evaluate the effectiveness of supply chain management, create a competitive supply chain.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course introduces the concepts, applications, and tools of Operations and Supply Chain Management in a global context according to the SCOR model, specifically: 

  • Operation management (Make) is the design of a system to transform input elements into output products (and services) in an efficient manner and achieve the strategic goals of the business.
  • Supply chain management (P-S-D-R) is the management of not only the flow of material elements throughout from the "input" stage until they are transformed into "output" factors, but also the management of related factors such as information, finance, risks, legal, policies... in order to achieve an optimal level in supply activities, creating positive prices for participants.
