As financial markets become more developed, complex and sophisticated, customer needs are becoming more diverse and specific. This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to create and design new products to meet the specific needs of investment banking clients.

This subject is designed to equip the students with knowledge and skills so that students can address current financial issues as well as devise new and innovative financial products. Core topics will be discussed in this subjects include: types of financial engineering, the derivatives trading strategies, speculation, financial engineering products such as securitizations, credit derivatives swap, structured products.
