5. Course Objectives:
The course provides basic knowledge of exchange rates, foreign exchange trading operations such as: Spot, Arbitrage, Forward, Swap, Option, Future, hedging strategies as well as fundamental analysis methods, technical analysis and trading strategies in the foreign exchange market. Providing expertise, professionalism and ethics for students to be able to work in foreign exchange trading at financial institutions.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This module provides knowledge of foreign exchange risk management in banking and import-export activities of enterprises. Students can use hedging strategies, as well as fundamental methods of analysis, technical analysis, derivative market trading strategies, and speculative strategies. The course also introduces a simulated program on the forex market so that students can apply the knowledge they have learned to carry out trading and investment strategies in these markets, and give advice of forex risk hedging strategies for managers.
