The Political Science course provides students with basic knowledge of political science. Specifically, it helps students grasp the basic concepts of politics, political power and political relationships in society. Understand the history of Eastern, Western and Vietnamese political thought, thereby identifying the positive values ​​of these thoughts and applying them to the country's innovation. Understand the mechanism of implementing political power in Vietnam, including the operation of political parties, state power, and the socio-political system. Understand the dialectical relationship between economics and politics, thereby applying it to solving the current relationship of economic and political innovation in Vietnam. Understand the theory of the Rule of Law State, Civil Society, as well as the principles of building and operating a Rule of Law State of the people, by the people, for the people. On the basis of mastering knowledge, the course helps students develop the ability to analyze political situations, apply theory to build guidelines and policies suitable to reality. Apply political principles and theories on political decisions to the process of building platforms, guidelines and policies of the Party and State. Develop critical thinking and awareness of responsibility in researching and participating in political and social activities. Form a sense of responsibility for building and developing the political system in Vietnam, while promoting the role of political and social organizations in organizing and promoting mass power.

Understanding Politics and Political Relationships. Understand the general theory of Political Policy, then apply it to building the foundation, lines, guidelines and policies of our Party and State today. To firmly grasp the role of socio-political organizations in organizing and promoting the strength of the masses. Fully understand the contemporary political system, thereby determining the correctness and compliance of the political model selection in our country. Mastering the principle of handling political situations to apply in solving political hot spots in Vietnam in the current innovation.
