5. Course Objectives:

The Socio-Economic Policy course provides general knowledge and skills on the system of economic and social policies (public policies). Starting from clarifying the necessity and role of socio-economic policies in economic management. The course provides students with basic knowledge to be able to apply in practice to analyze policies and make policy recommendations. At the same time, through practical situations, students can skillfully combine basic knowledge with methods of detecting policy problems to make appropriate decisions in management.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

Socio-economic policies are one of the most important tools of the State to manage and operate socio-economic activities according to defined objectives. The course offers bachelor's degree students majoring in political economy the core contents of the following issues: The process of planning, organizing the implementation of socio-economic policies; State's analysis of major socio-economic policies; Viewpoints, principles and contents of policies: economic restructuring policies; foreign economic policy, human resource and employment management policy, education and training policy. Thereby helping learners improve their specialized knowledge and analyze and correctly apply policies in practice.
