This course includes four parts. In the first part, scientific research and research process are overviewed. In the second part, the course introduces the literature review method, whereas students are guided to search scientific materials, evaluate the prestige of these materials. Students are also guided to read, summarise, and write the literature review section. In the third part, students are introduced to design a research methodology. Moreover, students are introduced to some basic econometric models including OLS, FGLS, REM, and FEM. In the last part, students are guided to construct a research proposal.
