Digital Government (DG) is the application of information technology to fundamentally transform the nature of government operations, provide public services, and conduct government activities across information technology and telecommunications platforms.
In the first chapter, students are equipped with concepts regarding the state apparatus, DG models, and the challenges as well as requirements for DG solutions. Next, students will gain fundamental knowledge of technologies related to Technology and the DG Architecture Framework. In the chapter Information Systems in DG, students will be provided with knowledge about information, understanding information systems in management and DG applications at national or local levels in the following chapter.
To successfully implement DG, the chapter Determinants of DG Success will discuss general resource factors, social, ethical, and legal factors, along with electronic and telecommunications elements. To exploit DG services, students are equipped with knowledge of DG operating models. In the final chapter, students will explore the development roadmap, the management of DG projects, and the development status of DG globally and in Vietnam.
