5. Course Objectives:

This course focuses on analyzing the role of the government as an important factor in regulating the macro economy through two aspects of revenue and expenditure of public finance to achieve three macroeconomic goals: sustainable economic growth, job creation and inflation control. In addition, the course also aims to analyze the impact of public spending on the economy in association with community welfare. At the same time, the course also discusses the choice of methods to compensate for the government's budget deficit and discusses the situation leading to public debt crisis in some countries. Finally, the course provides knowledge on budget decentralization between the government and local authorities in the direction of increasing the initiative and creativity of local authorities in the trend of modern public administration and implementation of public investment expenditures.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The course provides knowledge about the role, objectives of government and the use of public finance tools to achieve the government's goals in both the short and long term. First, the course equips students with general knowledge of public finance revenues. Next, the course provides a framework for analyzing the impact of public spending on national economic growth. In addition, the course equips students with knowledge about the allocation of government budget resources according to priority objectives. Then, the course provides a theoretical framework for sustainable public debt management in the national context. Finally, the course also helps students understand and evaluate the methods of financing government budget deficits within an institutional framework and macroeconomic environment in countries.
