5. Course Objectives:
The Public Project Appraisal and Management module provides the knowledge and skills needed to manage and evaluate a project in the public sector with an in-depth approach to public investment projects. Specifically, the module equips comprehensive knowledge of the content and role of the project management standard system and project management framework. At the same time, the module also helps learners clearly distinguish and use basic techniques for appraisal of public projects from a financial perspective along with an economic perspective.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This module provides students with a project management framework, regardless of public or private project, in the view of the Institute of Project Management (PMI) – a well-known and trusted organization of the World in this field. In addition, the study also provides methods along with skills in appraising and evaluatiing government investment projects mainly from a financial and economic perspective.
