5. Course Objectives:
The course of Public Sector Internal Control introduces students to the basic content of internal control applied in public sector units according to the guidelines of the public control framework which issued by International Body. This course is designed to orient students to become responsible experts, skilled in establishing internal control systems as well as risk management in their organizations. Another goal is to help learners realize that internal control is the foundation for the effective operation of all organizations and it supports the unit itself to achieve its operational goals.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This course will help students learn from the most basic control issues and content from basic to specialized in internal control systems based on knowledge of control in the private sector as well as public sector guidelines are issued by professional organizations. In addition, the course also provides information related to the formation and development of internal control theories and practices; components in the structure of internal control and some specific issues in each public unit's activity area.
