This course introduces the concepts, applications, and tools of Supply Chain and Operations Management.
- Operations management is the design of a system to convert input factors into output products (and services) effectively and achieve the strategic goals of the business.
- Supply chain management is the management of the movement flow of not only physical elements throughout from the "input" stage until they are transformed into "output" elements but also the management of Relevant factors such as information, finance, risks, laws, policies ... are relevant to achieve optimal levels of supply, creating positive prices for the parties involved.
