Building a business model is essential for any newly established business, especially those operating in technology or highly creative fields, as they require groundbreaking innovations at the steps that can create the highest added value in the value chain. In the case of startups, they must begin from scratch, so establishing relationships with relevant partners and identifying revenue streams are prerequisites for survival. This course will begin by introducing nine key components of a business model. Based on this, basic business models will be introduced to students. Then, knowledge related to business model design, design strategies, and the design process will be presented. Building upon this knowledge, students will conduct research and analyze real-world business models.
